About this role:

As a Client Value Partner, you will be the primary relationship holder and strategic advisor for a portfolio of ADAPT Research & Advisory clients. This role is critical to ensuring our clients derive maximum value from their partnership with ADAPT.

You’ll work closely with C-level leaders across enterprise and government, using ADAPT’s proprietary research, community access, and expert advisors to help them solve problems, navigate complexity, and drive performance. You’ll coordinate internal experts, oversee onboarding, and be responsible for creating engagement strategies that lead to sustained usage and contract growth.

This is a Sydney-based role located at ADAPT’s head office.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build deep, trusted relationships with senior IT and business leaders across your client portfolio.
  • Lead onboarding and engagement plans to ensure high adoption and demonstrable value.
  • Regularly identify and prioritise client challenges, delivering solutions through ADAPT insights, connections, and advisory services.
  • Facilitate strategy calls and recommend tailored engagement programs that align to client goals and metrics.
  • Actively monitor account health and client success metrics to mitigate risk and drive retention.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth through new services, products, or increased usage.
  • Master and execute ADAPT’s account methodology and client engagement strategies.

 

What you will need:

  • 2+ years of consultative Sales or Account Management experience
  • Strong executive presence, intrinsic drive, natural curiosity and coachability
  • A desire to make a difference and over deliver on promises and customer expectations.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required, Masters or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Track record of overachievement on goals or quotas
  • Strong proficiency in computer skills
  • Excellent written communication and oral presentation skills
  • Proficiency in account planning and an understanding of territory management
