At the 2022 Connected Cloud and Data Centre Edge event, ADAPT’s Director of Strategic Research, Matt Boon, revealed the top challenges and investment priorities of infrastructure leaders.

Currently, 35% of IT processing loads are in the public cloud. ADAPT forecasts that 55% of workloads will be hosted in the public cloud by 2024.

With cloud migration continuing in its acceleration, this not only calls for greater demand for cloud talent but a clearer justification of cloud spending.

When he is not working, Matt enjoys walking the many trails of the NSW Southern Highlands, travelling and listening to music. He is also partial to a good steak and nice glass of red wine.
