Are you a product marketing storyteller at heart who can speak the language of CIOs, CMOs, and enterprise executives?

ADAPT is fast-growing Australian research, advisory and events firm helping senior IT and business leaders drive transformation. We connect enterprise executives through community-led events, provide local market research and insights, and support vendor go-to-market success through tailored data, advisory, and IT buyer intelligence.

We serve two core audiences:

  • CIOs and Technology Executives in enterprise and government
  • Marketing and Sales Leaders in tech vendor organisations

As we scale our offerings and expand our impact, we’re looking for a strategic Product Marketing Manager to bridge the gap between our products, our sales team, and the market.

The Opportunity

You’ll lead product marketing at ADAPT – defining positioning, sharpening messaging, and enabling sales. You’ll work across both core audience segments (IT Leaders and Tech Vendors), translating our unique IP, events, and advisory offerings into clear, compelling value propositions.

This is a foundational role designed to unlock go-to-market efficiency, fuel demand generation, and support the sales cycle with best-in-class messaging, assets, and enablement.

Key Responsibilities

Positioning & Messaging
  • Develop and refine clear, differentiated positioning and messaging for ADAPT’s products and services across both segments
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform messaging and content
  • Own persona-level messaging frameworks and elevator pitches for CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, CMOs, and other key buyers
Sales Enablement
  • Create and maintain high-impact sales assets: product one-pagers, sales decks, proposal templates, objection-handling guides
  • Train Sales, BDRs, and Client Success on positioning, pitch materials, and talk tracks
  • Maintain a centralised enablement toolkit to support pipeline progression
Web & Digital Experience
  • Own product-level copy and user journeys across the ADAPT website
  • Collaborate with Marketing Ops, Content, and Design to optimise key landing pages and conversion funnels
  • Drive updates to product and service pages as offerings evolve
Promotional Content & Campaign Fuel
  • Conceptualise marketing assets like explainer videos, infographics, data slide decks that promote core product messaging
  • Brief creative and content teams on production of campaign materials
  • Support paid, social, and email campaigns with the right messaging and hooks
Go-To-Market Strategy & Launches
  • Partner with Product, Research, and Advisory teams to support new offerings and product evolutions
  • Develop GTM plans, working with Demand Gen and Content teams to execute campaigns
  • Lead campaign briefs to ensure strong creative, copy, and CTA alignment with product value

About You

You’re a strategic marketer who can connect the dots between a product’s value and the market’s needs. You’re just as comfortable in a messaging workshop as you are building a sales deck or briefing a designer.

You’re hands-on, practical, and ready to build from the ground up – but with a clear vision for scalable product marketing excellence.

Experience & Skills
  • 5+ years in B2B product marketing, ideally in SaaS, research, advisory, or IT services
  • Demonstrated experience in positioning complex B2B solutions to senior decision-makers
  • Experience creating sales enablement assets and managing internal stakeholder alignment
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills — especially for web, decks, and video scripts
  • Familiarity with content marketing, digital campaigns, and mapping messaging and assets to each stage of the buyer journey
  • Collaborative mindset — able to work cross-functionally with Sales, Research, Product, Demand Generation and Creative
  • Understanding of the Australian tech or enterprise market is a strong plus
