Matt Boon is responsible for directing and developing ADAPT’s research content and positions. In his role at ADAPT he advises C-suite executives across the enterprise and technology provider landscape. Matt is also responsible for bringing together groups of C-Suite leaders to discuss and prepare for the many challenges and opportunities they face.

ADAPT hosts numerous industry leading IT focused events annually. Matt is responsible for hosting, chairing and delivering ADAPT independent content to help attendees make informed IT decisions. Over many years in senior roles at Gartner, Ideas International and other advisory groups he has become a sought after and highly respected authority and speaker on the global IT landscape, always with a focus on what that really means from a differentiated business first and local mindset.

Matt Boon is responsible for directing and developing ADAPT’s research content and positions. Senior Analyst


After nearly 40 years in IT, Peter Hind’s primary interest is harnessing the potential of IT to transform the way organisations operate and the tactics and techniques CIOs should use to overcome these difficulties. Peter has spent the last 25 years as an analyst and commentator on the IT industry. He was formerly at research company IDC, where he led the INTEP IT management program.

Peter’s forte is running management forums for IT C-Suite executives. He has multiple roles within ADAPT, including the structuring of delegate surveys, interrogation and analysis of ADAPT’s trove of end-user and C-level data, moderation of private events and roundtables and MC for the numerous ADAPT Edge events.

Aparna Sundararajan leads the emerging and disruptive technology research agenda within ADAPT’s strategic advisory team. As Senior Research Strategist, her role is to create independent advice for the Australian C-Suite around emerging technologies, trends and investment priorities and developing industry leading content for the ADAPT portfolio of Edge events.

As a technology analyst and marketer, Aparna aligns the burning issues of senior executives with digital business dynamics and emerging technology capabilities to create strategic advice for ADAPT’s Members and Strategic Partners.

Aparna has had 12 years working in the IT services sector, much of it with Gartner, where she developed independent advice for senior IT managers on the emerging roles and responsibilities they face in digital technologies, digital customer behaviour, and business model transformation.

Jim is well known in the local market for delivering on his promises. His entire career has been spent connecting the right people at the right time in roles across Europe, China and Australia.

He founded ADAPT to deliver quality outcomes with integrity and now in our 8th year growth has been consistent. Jim takes a leading role in ADAPT’s analysis and is still positioned across sales and account management where he delivers innovative results and programs and leads by example.

He also runs entrepreneurial product development and the evolution and clear differentiated value of ADAPT’s offerings. As well as a NSW Small Business Excellence nomination, ADAPT was 55th in BRW’s 2014 Top 100 Start Ups – Jim’s 3rd time there. Previously as Founder of Strategic Path, an award-winning ICT publisher, he steered the company to make the list in both 2009 and 2010.

Matthew is a Partner at ADAPT, responsible for developing relationships with the Member community and working with them to leverage their usage of the content.

As an authentic connector of C-Level executives, board members and educational technology evangelists, Matthew has a real passion for understanding current trends and challenges, while utilising intelligent and strategic data insights to equip the C-Suite with knowledge and competencies to make better decisions.

He brings over 15 years of international experience, commercial acumen, and business processes that has solidified ADAPT as the premier business community in the market. From 2015 to 2018 Matthew led and managed ADAPT’s Delegate Advisory Team.

Utilising this diverse skill set, Jason is able to bridge the gap between commercial and government organisations and the technology and vendor landscape in Australia and globally. Jason leads ADAPT’s strategic consulting services, as well as the potential directions for growth through new products, services and strategies.
