Stephen Gillies

Stephen is an experienced, adaptable IT sales professional who has held a range of roles with leading global IT security vendors and Australian organisations. As a well-respected security evangelist, he is adept at communicating IT security concepts and solutions to business leaders using a combination of storytelling, case study examples, active white boarding and brainstorming techniques such as mapping, ideation and star-bursting.

Stephen enjoys working with teams to help align business strategies and IT security priorities, often taking on the ‘trusted advisor’ role to identify and mitigate IT risk. Relying on relationships built over many years, Stephen has worked with organisations from a number of industries including state and federal public sector, large telco, utilities, and higher education.
