Lead Advisor, Technical SCIBN Project at Sunshine Coast Council

Michael is the Industry Enablement Coordinator in the Economic Development Branch of the Sunshine Coast Council. His focus lies in identifying innovative and dynamics ways to increase infrastructure investments within the Sunshine Coast Region.

As part of his role he is also involved in business facilitation and development within the Knowledge Industries and Professional Services Sector for the Sunshine Coast Region. He is currently the President of the Australian Smart Communities Assocation with over 380 organisational members across Australia and New Zealand including all levels of government, RDA’s, RoC’s, Universities, Carriers and national organisations collaborating to drive additional digital connectivity and achieve improvements in digital productivity.
