Jürgen Spangl

Jurgen is an accomplished designer with over 20 years experience in developing user experiences for the web, desktop, mobile, and physical products. Jurgen is a strong proponent of a holistic view on product development – including the product as a whole and above all the human perspective within the social and environmental context. With a solid and balanced understanding of the complex relationship between design, business and technology he acts as a catalyst among the parties involved to create engaging product experiences.
Jurgen previously owned an Experience Design agency in Austria before moving to Sydney to head Experience Design at Vodafone. He is now the Chief Experience Officer at Atlassian.

Jurgen holds a PhD in Interaction Design/Computer Science from Vienna University of Technology.
