Daniel Biondi

As Chief Technology Officer for Australia and New Zealand, Daniel is responsible for helping our clients shape their IT strategy for business innovation and growth. Daniel is well known within the industry for his ability to deliver technology-enabled business solutions that deliver innovation, while reducing cost and complexity.

Daniel has over 25 years of experience in leading and managing the application of advanced IT solutions for organisations within the financial services, telco, retail, manufacturing, and government sectors. He has worked with multi-nationals in more than 17 countries across every industry group and with enterprise clients including the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Westpac, Bank of Queensland, Singapore Government, Australian Taxation Office, Telstra, McDonalds, and Banco Santander.

Daniel was previously CTO of Financial Services for Hewlett Packard Enterprise, South Pacific, responsible for strategy and go-to-market plans, innovation, thought leadership and business turn-around. He also held senior roles in Latin America, including CTO for Argentina and Chile and Regional CTO for Latin America.

Daniel is a former HPE Fellow and Thought Leader, a Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA), FSI Co-Chair of the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA), FINSIA Chairman of the Retail and Business Banking Industry Council, Advisory Board member of Insurtech Australia, and a member of the University of Technology, Sydney’s (UTS) Bachelor of IT Steering Committee. He also serves as a technical advisor to startups, accelerators and venture capital funds globally.

Daniel has a BS in Information Systems from Universidad del Salvador, Argentina, an MBA in International Business from L’Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (ENPC), France, and has completed the General Management Executive Education program at Harvard Business School (HBS).
