Chris Chelliah

SVP, Customer Strategy, Business Development & Insight, APJ at Oracle


Chris Chelliah is senior vice president for customer strategy, insight and business development for Oracle Asia Pacific & Japan. He has more than 28 years of experience in the information systems industry; 25 of those years have been with Oracle across different portfolios in Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America.

Chelliah has held other roles within the company, where he focused on consulting and implementation services in large, global projects across the telecommunications, financial services, and government sectors, driving disruptive & innovative software solutions.

Chelliah holds a degree in computer and mathematical sciences, with first-class honors, from the University of Western Australia. He has been published in a number of trade and industry journals and is the co-author of Professional Oracle Programming, a Wiley publication. He is a featured speaker on Oracle’s vision, strategy, and architecture, and consults on critical and key customer projects throughout the region.

Chris will speak about “Hidden Data Economy in Financial Services”, based on the new RFI Group discussion paper. He will cover the notion of data liquidity, productivity and security; and examine how data can help address the banking priorities. He will share some customer examples and highlight the latest tech developments in the field of Data Management.
