Digital innovator. Transformation leader. Outside-the-square thinker. David specialises in design leadership, strategic design, service design, user experience architecture, product leadership and digital transformation for start-ups, large programs and complex enterprises in public and private sectors.
David is building a new digital innovation capability for DXC Technology – the DTC Vision. His team is responsible for delivering cutting-edge digital innovation to DXC’s clients by designing digital solutions at the intersection of technical feasibility, business viability and human desirability. DTC Vision delivers intense and energetic co-designed, co-invested engagements to shape our client’s digital product visions. DTC Vision supports clients to take fresh perspectives on technology problems by bringing a strategic lens to future investments and showcasing the best available technology and approaches from DXC and partners.
Before joining DXC, David led BCG’s growing team of strategic and experience designers across the Asia Pacific region and was a member of BCG’s global design leadership group. In this role he delivered design expertise into business development teams and digital transformation projects across APAC and the Middle East in government, tourism, mining, energy, transport, telecoms and consumer goods.
A problem-solver by nature, his core capabilities also include structured innovation, leadership and design thinking, particularly in large change-averse organisations where his unique brand of team-building and stakeholder engagement breaks down barriers to innovation and creates strong networks.
David practices what he preaches, having developed his own innovative businesses in Australia and SE Asia including the start-up Stalkthis.com, an online shopping utility that monitors the prices of your favourite online products, and Suitcase, a service to help travellers trade social media potential for hotel perks. David also mentors on the ANU Techlauncher program, assisting and guiding teams of students to explore and develop start-up businesses and social enterprises.
