Chris Benson

Chris has solid experience delivering and driving the use of Data Analytics and AI solutions across many industries including Insurance, Not for Profits, Local and Federal Governments, Manufacturing and Mining, Utilities, Wealth Management, and Retail. Chris is a specialist across Microsoft Cloud and Databricks and has broad IT skills to provide over 25 years of experience in consulting to C-Level executives.

Since joining Fujitsu in 2018 Chris has helped develop and build the Data & AI Team across APAC with an annual growth rate of 30%. Chris has worked with multiple enterprise organisations such as Newcrest, South32, BlueScope Steel and many others to help drive digital maturity through modern Data & AI implementations and adoption. Chris has led partnerships with Microsoft and Databricks attaining solution partner status in Data & AI and Apps & Innovation within Microsoft (formerly gold Partnerships) and Elite status within Databricks having won Databricks APJ Partner of Year in 2021 & 2022. Chris has driven the development of multiple solution accelerators including the latest Fujitsu Lakehouse Accelerator. These have helped organisations to accelerate their journey to modern cloud data platforms to unlock value within their data to drive insights and innovation.
