Alan Seery

Alan is an accomplished technologist with wide recognition for his work in the field of high-performance technologies.

He has been a senior leader in global technology vendors, multinational businesses and now is a key part of the Aqura Technologies leadership team as they rapidly grow to meet the needs of customers across a number of industries who are looking to unlock value from digital transformation of their operations.

Alan’s career is punctuated with a number of firsts. He led the delivery of the first private 4GLTE network in Australia, indeed globally in resources, in addition to overseeing the installation of an advanced DWDM network across the Pilbara to support Rio Tinto’s Mine of the Future digital transformation program.

He also led the technology strategy, design and delivery for Australia’s first underground 4GLTE and 5G deployments and has continued to lead innovation in the sector as a board member of the Australian Critical Communications Forum (ACCF).

Alan is responsible for developing technology solutions tailored to meet specific customer needs and demands. Leading a diverse team of in-house technical personnel, Alan has been tasked to grow the Communications business with particular focus on a strategy to identify, develop and deploy technologies to enable businesses to maximise their investments in digital transformation.
