Vikash is an engineering-driven people leader with a strong organisational aptitude and proven ability to inspire, mentor and grow high performing teams. Drawing on over 15 years in engineering, across multiple industries and sectors. Vikash has placed his energy on people, culture, performance, growth and innovation.

More recently, Vikash focused on building culture and leading teams to succeed by incorporating ‘DevSecOps’ methodologies and modern engineering practices. His recent successes in this space have been in the banking industry where programs of work saw exponential time, cost savings and increase in quality through engineering uplift by people who focused on developing solutions with the latest open-sourced technologies and SaaS products to achieve tangible and visible results.

Vikash has been tasked with developing and planning future innovation and engineering roadmaps linked to new customer platforms for technology delivery through CI/CD, coaching individuals and teams in best practice development approaches to designing APIs, building microservices and implementing continuous delivery pipelines.

His mission is to grow modern engineering capabilities and practices within Kiwibank to enable people to be successful as they pivot to DevSecOps ‘ways of working’ at scale, along with transitioning infrastructure to cloud for scalability.
