Scott Layton

Scott Layton leads the Global Finance Transformation practice within IBM. In this role he works with clients to re-imagine and re-engineer their finance process to deliver intelligent workflows and higher value through transformation. Prior to this role, he was the Director of Audit and Investigations for IBM’s Asia Pacific regions and the Financial Controller for Asia Pacific. Scott has been with IBM for nearly 20 years, working across multiple regions geographies and functions spending time in controls, planning, audit, and strategy. Of his career with IBM, nearly half of it has been spent in Asia, where he has worked in Japan, China, and Singapore.

Scott is passionate about transformation, technology and skills. He is always working with his organizations to adopt new tools, methodologies, and analytics while building organizational capability. He has worked internally on cognitive finance projects, enterprise performance management, sales model strategies, and intelligent opportunity yield projects.
