Rupert Colchester

Rupert leads a practice of consultants, designers, architects and developers working with government and businesses across all industries to drive enterprise transformation using blockchain.

Prior to arriving in Australia 2 years ago, Rupert spent 10 years working for IBM in the UK in both technical and sales roles, before starting IBM’s Blockchain business in the UK. His consulting and technical delivery engagements since have spanned a wide variety of use cases – from proof of concepts through to production implementations. Most recently he has been leading the IBM team working in partnership with four other partners (ANZ Bank, CBA, Scentre Group and Westpac) to create and incorporate Lygon – a blockchain-based platform for guarantees.

He has a degree in AI and Computer Science from University of Edinburgh.
