NZQA’s role in the education sector is to ensure that New Zealand qualifications are regarded as credible and robust, nationally and internationally, in order to help over 160,000 learners each year succeed in their chosen endeavours and to contribute to New Zealand society. As CIO of NZQA, Lukasz’s focus was lifting student achievement, improving equity of access and contributing to the social and economic growth of New Zealand.

Lukasz is an adaptive business and technology executive, with extensive experience in growing organisations, delivering complex change initiatives, as well as building high performing teams and cultures. His proven track record of moving beyond simply managing IT to leveraging technology to create business value in a range of industries has earned him a new role as Professional Services Practice Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS) .
