Louisa Francis

Partner, Technology & Consulting, Data & Analytics at Ernst & Young

I am a Partner of EY’s Data and Analytics practice bringing over 20 years of professional services, corporate and not-for-profit experience focused on leading successful business transformation.

My focus is on supporting organisations across Government, Health and Life Sciences with their data and information management objectives to deliver real business value and working across EY to collectively strive to build better citizen outcomes, across Oceania, every day.

My leadership experiences have included:

  • Large-scale complex regulatory and compliance program delivery
  • Data governance and policy set-up and implementation
  • Data Protection and Privacy program implementation
  • 800+ data engineering organisations to deliver of $120m data projects p.a.
  • SaaS implementation from both business and technology perspectives
  • Business operations
  • Program Portfolio management

I am a passionate and motivated leader with a proactive approach to complex problem solving and process improvements through cross-business collaboration. Information management has incredible value beyond compliance and repository functions, unlocking this will lead to improved business performance.

In moving back from corporate to consulting my passion is to demonstrate the value of data in leveraging current and new assets to make a difference – bringing a digital strategy that enables organisations to determine how they can best leverage data and analytics technology to deliver the business outcomes they require, simply and sustainably. Making real changes to an organisation through the strategic implementation of easy-to-use solutions that create sustainable value that can be linked to an organisation’s bottom line – whether greater efficiency, increased revenues or both.

I am incredibly people-focused and enjoy building new teams, motivating challenged teams and bringing together a diverse group of people to collaborate on a common objective. My team leadership experience ranges from small teams of 15 to over 800 people. I am passionate about diversity in the workplace, particularly women in technology, and I am proud of working with The Growth Project to help charity leaders build sustainable organisations that make a difference for years to come.
