Kris Day leads the Asia Pacific and Japan Modern Data Center (MDC) team, which helps private and public-sector customers of all sizes modernise, automate and transform their data centres using Dell EMC’s industry-leading traditional storage architectures, converged and hyper-converged platforms, and software define and hybrid/multi cloud solutions.

Kris has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry including a number of senior sales and business leadership roles. He joined Dell EMC in 2018 before which he led many teams to success within large companies in the Storage and Infrastructure competitive landscapes.

As part of Kris’ journey to Dell EMC he also led 2 prolific start-up organisations in APJ, both as independent entities and through/post successful acquisitions with 3PAR and subsequently SolidFire.

Kris has been in APJ roles for the last decade but actually started his long and fruitful career in technology with EMC in the UK back in the late 1990’s.
His return to Dell EMC is a welcome homecoming and an important assignment as he leads this critical part of the Dell Technologies portfolio.
