Senior Vice President, Customer Success at VMware


Kevin Meeks joined VMware as Senior Vice President of Customer Success in June 2022. He brings nearly two decades of experience in building and scaling pre-sales and customer success teams; leading customer-driven initiatives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Prior to VMware, Kevin served as DocuSign’s Head of Customer Success organisation where he was responsible for leading and developing the overall success and adoption strategy.

Prior to DocuSign, Kevin served as the Chief Customer Officer at Apptio where he led key initiatives to optimise and scale Customer Success, resulting in a significant reduction in their customers’ time-to-value and improvements in their overall growth and retention rates.

At Splunk, Kevin was the SVP, Global Customer Success and Renewals.  In this role, Kevin led the overall adoption and renewals of Splunk’s global install base.  Additionally, Kevin was responsible for transforming the Customer Success organisation as the company transitioned from a perpetual to subscription-based revenue model.

He successfully led key programs to scale Customer Success across all customers by building programs for high, low and tech touch, resulting in a double-digit improvement in both net and gross retention rates.
