Joely Scott Thomas

As the leader of VMware’s enterprise and government business, Joely Scott-Thomas is responsible for leading sales of VMware’s multi-cloud portfolio into the largest and most influential organisations and government departments in Australia.

In this role, Joely heads a national team of enterprise sales leaders who focus on partnering with customers and partners to help them innovate and drive their transformation.

Joining VMware in 2015, Joely has over 25 years of experience in the technology sector including senior sales and leadership roles with BMC Software, CA Technologies, Service Now and DXC.

A STEM graduate with a BSc Hons in Chemist from the University of Nottingham, UK, Joely is involved in initiatives to support women and girls wanting to study STEM subjects.

Joely is passionate about sailing, staying fit and hiking with her family. She invests her time in supporting the community by working with Making Waves, Kids off the Street and St Vincents Curran Foundation.
