Jeff Scheaffer is a growth business leader with expertise in business strategy, innovation, and a maniacal focus on execution. He has a proven track record leading businesses, including: scaling emerging businesses to over $1B in annual revenues, turning around an underperforming business, leading business model and portfolio transformation to subscription and SaaS, and leading intrapreneurship initiatives to build new innovation pipelines within large enterprises.

As the Vice-President of Software Products and Strategy for Cisco’s $20B+ Enterprise Networking Business Unit, Jeff is currently responsible for leading the software-defined disruption of legacy IP networking markets. Jeff is driving this transformation and creating shareholder value through three levers: leading a business model disruption by shifting revenue mix from infrastructure to renewable subscriptions, building a differentiated and durable architecture through software-defined controllers, and increasing GTM leverage with lower FSC through a new digital GTM built on real-time streaming telemetry from both controllers and managed networks. Jeff’s portfolios include Enterprise Routing, Software Defined Access (SDA), Software Defined WAN (SDWAN), DNAC & Multi-Domain Integration.

Prior to joining Cisco, Jeff served as the SVP and General Manager for the Continuous Delivery and DevOps portfolio at CA Technologies (acquired by Broadcom). While a member of the CA Technologies senior leadership team, Jeff played a key role in doubling CA’s market capitalization to $19B over three years by leading business model and portfolio transformation, leading the turnaround of CA’s $100M+ Continuous Delivery and Testing Business Unit with 25%+ bookings growth, 20%+ revenue growth, +35pt NPS, and 90%+ renewal rates, brining two organically developed SaaS offerings to market in 9 months, and leading a string of pearls acquisition strategy to enter new market segments with disruptive SaaS offerings, expanding TAM by $2B+.

Jeff started his professional career with Hewlett-Packard, working with legendary founders David Packard and Bill Hewlett. Jeff held various leadership positions in engineering, product management and general management of the HP OpenView and HP Software businesses. Scaling the business to over $1B+ in annual revenue through organic product development, acquisitions, partnerships and divestitures.

Jeff coauthored The Kitty Hawk Venture, a thought leadership book on Continuous Delivery and Continuous Testing in DevOps and has been a frequent public keynote speaker. Jeff holds an MBA from the University of Colorado and BS Engineering from Colorado State University.
