Jane Treadwell

Jane Treadwell has been a senior executive in government and consulted in government transformation, service delivery, innovation, design and IT. She held leadership roles in Australia’s national and state governments and was the first CIO and Deputy CEO of Digital Business in Centrelink, a pioneer in one-stop shop services. Jane was also the CEO of DesignGov and her digital and design expertise led to consulting and advisory work with a number of international development organisations.

As the World Bank’s Lead Digital Development Specialist, she worked with client countries in Asia, South America and Europe to assist them understand, shape and transform their public sectors, societies and economies.

Jane was recognised for her innovative and public sector leadership and received the Australian iAwards Woman of the Year in 2011, Fellowship of the Institute of Public Administration of Australia and National CIO of Australia in 2005. She is now Lead, Government Transformation, APJ at AWS.
