Henry Wright

Henry has been working in the IT industry since 1997. His career started as a Compaq ASE engineer and specialised in hardware using the Microsoft Windows platform with MSSQL. Having progressed to various roles around hardware and databases, Henry migrated to the UK to take up a role as a database administrator. During this time, he expanded his interests into storage and networking, and migrated to Australia to take on the role of IT Manager. Since then, he has been heavily involved in network infrastructure solutions, high performance compute and storage solutions, virtualisation platforms and mission critical systems. With strong skills in infrastructure and network architecture, from managing design through to implementation and operations — coupled with strong leadership skills in data centre implementations, migrations, IT delivery and operational teams — Henry has a broad understanding of the role IT plays in everyday businesses with a strong focus on change governance, ITIL practices and managing deliverables and budgets.
