Grant Barrington

Grant Barrington, Head of IT – General Insurance, is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects, changes, and support for all applications within general insurance for Zurich Financial Services Australia. Within this role, he is responsible for the strategic direction, execution of initiatives and the day to day running of the IT team. He values fact-based decision making and ensuring metrics and data is collected at all times.

Based in Sydney, Grant joined Zurich in 2017 and has more than 20 years’ experience in the IT industry, with 15 years working in the General Insurance sector. His experience includes Application Management and Project Management, and he has executed numerous projects integrating with third parties to support comparator models. Prior to joining Zurich, Grant has held roles with other Underwriters, Insurance Agents, and Insurance Brokers.
