Emma Beard

Emma is the newly appointed Finance Transformation Director at Lion, responsible for redefining how the Finance team partners and delivers Lion’s strategic priorities through leveraging technology and uplifting capability centred on leading practices.

Prior to this, Emma led Lion’s Business Service team for 5 years and over this period created and executed Lion’s Business Process Outsourcing strategy, led the team through Lion’s SAP S/4HANA implementation and sponsored the implementation of Blackline both of which went live during COVID. Passionate about leveraging investments in technology, Emma established Lion’s Business Process Excellence and Automation teams.

Under Emma’s leadership, Lion’s Business Service team received the 2018 Value Creation award and 2021 Business Resilience Impact Award as part of the annual Australasian Shared Service and Outsourcing Week and was included in SSON’s Top 20 global most admired Business Service teams in 2020 and 2021.
