David Simpson

Dave Simpson has been IBM’s Global Leader for Cloud Platform since January 2017. Having held a number of roles across IBM’s Services, Software, Education and Finance business units, he is now responsible for one of the cornerstones of IBM’s growth strategy – seeing to the development, enhancement and adoption of IBM’s public cloud capabilities. Dave and his team help clients transform and develop new business models leveraging IBM’s broad portfolio of processes, patents, skills and technology leadership.

A graduate of Dalhousie University, with a Bachelor of Science in Math and Computer Science, Dave has been an active participant in the community and holds board memberships in several organisations.
