Damian Leach

Damian joins Workday Singapore as CTO for APJ and holds an international EMBA from ‘Nanyang Technological University, focused on Asian Business and Entrepreneurship studying overseas segments at both Wharton and UC Berkeley. He started his career 25 years ago in London for an internet startup and went on to lead consultancy practices across EMEA, Asia, and ANZ and the role took him overseas permanently.

Damian has now lived and worked in APJ for over 18 years. Before joining Workday Damian spent 13 years in global roles in the FSI sector; in his last role for Standard Chartered Bank, he managed the full design, engineer, build and run stack for 200+ apps and 5k servers. Leading a large global team
and the Banks move to cloud collaboration, his story was later featured in a documentary on Channel News Asia.

Damian is focused on helping customers in the APJ region navigate their own Digital Transformation journey to the cloud whilst meeting the complex in-country regulations. Damian’s wife founded ‘Lush Platters’ and when he is not helping the family business or with his two daughters, he is active in the startup community in Asia as a panel judge, and mentor for Asia Deeptech event ‘Slingshot’, whilst actively supporting the charity ‘Hope For Cambodian Children’.
