Chris Rostron

Currently working at Vita Group Pty Ltd as the Enterprise Infrastructure Manager I am enjoying the challenges of a very dynamic and challenging role. My team oversees many aspects of IT operations where we are required to architect and implement solutions for many business channels while maintaining a secure, scalable and reliable IT environment. This includes but is not limited to the operations of our core datacentre, servers, applications, domain, routers, switches, firewalls and connectivity throughout both our head office and 100+ retail presences. My responsibilities extend to leading the infrastructure team to ensure that it is high performing unit, as well as developing IT policies and strategies to help meet the company’s overall financial and corporate goals.

Prior to Vita Group I held the the ICT Systems Administrator role at GroundProbe Pty Ltd where I was charged with overseeing all aspects of the global operation maintaining everything from compute and storage, servers, applications, network connectivity, routers, switches and firewalls.

I have an extensive IT background with experience working with a wide range of products, vendors and systems. Over the past 25 years I have worked in a variety of IT roles servicing the needs of a diverse user base in many varying environments; as a result I possess very well-developed analytical and diagnostic troubleshooting skills. I am self-motivated with a strong work ethic and strive for continuous improvement in all aspects of my personal and professional life. With these goals in mind I have found myself to not only be a valuable IT professional but a recognized leader and solution provider.
