Byron is Strategic Direction’s Principle Advisor in the Data Centre practice with more than 30 years’ experience across the IT, Telecommunications and Data Centre industries in Australia.

Byron is a specialist in data centre design, audit, strategy development, and business continuity planning, with expertise in zero downtime, live data centre refurbishment and capacity management.

With a deep understanding of the data centre lifecycle from specification, through design and operations, Byron is regularly engaged to assist organisations in data centre procurement, contract negotiation and tendering processes.

Byron has lead data centre commissioning teams in large-scale data centre solutions and has been involved in the design and deployment of edge based Micro Data Centre solutions across the Pacific.
