Brad Anderson

Vice President and Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand at VMware

Brad Anderson joined VMware in June 2020 as Vice President and Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ). Brad is responsible for driving strategic planning, business operations, go-to-market strategy, and management. With 25 years of technical and sales leadership experience behind him, Brad brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to the business.

A highly collaborative leader and strategic business partner, Brad is focused on supporting customers on their digital transformation journey to conquer complex challenges, break new ground and deliver more value.

Prior to joining VMware, Brad spent 15 years working in various roles at IBM. Most recently he served as Vice President of IBM Cloud and Cognitive Software for A/NZ, where he was responsible for all aspects of IBM’s local cloud business. Prior to this, Brad was Director of IBM Enterprise Sales and Licensing for Asia Pacific, where he was responsible for some of the company’s largest strategic accounts in the region. Before joining IBM, Brad led the local business development and expansion of Sophos and Kanbay (now part of Capgemini).

Brad is a Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP).
