Michael Murphy

Michael is ServiceNow’s risk transformation officer. In this role, he collaborates with customers, partners, and internal teams to maximize value on the ServiceNow platform through the context of risk, compliance, and control management. Prior to this role, Michael served as the global risk and compliance solution strategy leader for the financial services industry at ServiceNow.

Prior to joining ServiceNow, Michael was head of international risk governance strategy and transformation within Wells Fargo’s Enterprise Risk Management function. In this role, he was responsible for leading high priority initiatives to assess, design, and implement second line of defense risk and compliance governance structures and programs outside the United States.

Michael was a management consultant at PwC, where he led risk and compliance transformations in healthcare, retail, banking, and capital markets sectors. He also served as a non-commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley
