Max Tennant is a seasoned leader in customer experience innovation, currently serving as the Head of Amazon Connect for Australia & New Zealand at Amazon Web Services (AWS). With over two decades of experience in technology-driven CX transformations, Max has led teams across operations and agile technology delivery.

Prior to AWS, Max spent five years at Telstra, where he spearheaded the company’s contact centre migration to cloud capabilities, including Amazon Connect. His initiatives resulted in significant productivity improvements, removing over 5 million calls annually and integrating voice and digital channels.

With his extensive experience balancing technology and human touch in customer interactions, Max is well-positioned to discuss the crucial decision-making process between automated self-service and personalised assisted channels in today’s evolving customer experience landscape.
