Edge+ Website and Mobile Application Terms of Use

1. Introduction
Welcome to Edge+ (the “Portal”), a secure, invitation-only platform provided by ADAPT Ventures Pty Ltd (“ADAPT”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). Edge+ is accessible via desktop and mobile applications and is designed to support your complete experience before, during, and after participation in an ADAPT Event.
Whether you are engaging as a Speaker, Delegate, or Strategic Partner, Edge+ provides centralised access to:
- Custom event agendas and personal itineraries
- Research surveys and insights submission
- Personalised meeting schedules
- Networking opportunities
- Roundtable and presentation session information
- ADAPT-curated content and post-event materials
By accessing and using the Edge+ platform, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”) and to abide by all guidelines and obligations set out herein. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the platform.
2. User Eligibility and Access
2.1 Platform Access
Edge+ is a private, password-protected platform and is only available to individuals who have been personally invited or authorised by ADAPT. These users include confirmed Speakers, Delegates, Strategic Partners, or affiliated representatives approved to access the platform for legitimate business and event-related purposes.
Access may be granted on a temporary or ongoing basis, depending on the nature of your relationship with ADAPT and the event(s) you are participating in. We reserve the right to modify access permissions or remove access where appropriate.
2.2 User Responsibility
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and current information when creating or updating your profile.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials, including username, password, and any two-factor authentication details.
- Not share your credentials with any other person or permit unauthorised users to access your account or content available via Edge+.
You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Any misuse, unauthorised access, or breach of platform security may result in account suspension or termination.
3. Credentials and Security
3.1 Security of Login Credentials
Your login credentials are provided exclusively for your use in accordance with your role at an ADAPT Event. You must not share your login credentials with any other individual, including colleagues, vendors, or third-party organisations, even if they are involved in the same event.
You must ensure your credentials are kept secure and are not stored in an easily accessible or insecure manner.
3.2 Unauthorised Access
If you suspect that your account has been accessed without authorisation, you must:
- Immediately reset your password
- Notify ADAPT at hello@adapt.com.au so we can investigate and assist with securing your account
ADAPT is not liable for any loss, damage, or unauthorised disclosure of information resulting from your failure to properly secure your login credentials.
4. Data Collection, Ownership, and Use
4.1 Personal and Professional Information
By using Edge+, you may be required to submit or upload information that helps ADAPT tailor your event experience and enable networking. This may include:
- Full name, job title, organisation name
- Headshot photograph
- Professional biography or profile
- Company logo and overview
- Contact details (email, mobile number)
- Roundtable or session preferences
- Strategic Partner meeting preferences
- Pre-event survey responses and business insights
This data helps ADAPT build a personalised itinerary, match attendees and Strategic Partners intelligently, and generate aggregate insights for research purposes.
4.2 Ownership of Data
All content, materials, and data provided by you through Edge+, including survey responses, profile information, messages, meeting data, and participation analytics, are and remain the exclusive property of ADAPT Ventures Pty Ltd.
By using the platform, you grant ADAPT the right to:
- Collect, process, store, and use the data for internal business purposes, including research and reporting
- Produce de-identified, aggregate insights to be shared in ADAPT sessions, reports, and content
- Retain records of event participation and platform engagement for performance analysis, legal compliance, and customer service
You understand that no compensation or attribution is owed for the use of this data, and you waive any moral rights associated with it.
4.3 Application and Technical Data
In addition to manually submitted information, Edge+ may automatically collect background technical data to enhance the security and performance of the platform. This includes:
- Device details (e.g., model, operating system, browser version)
- IP address and network metadata
- Geolocation information, based on device settings and permissions
- Session logs, including date/time stamps and click-path interactions
- Crash reports, error codes, and diagnostic data for debugging purposes
This data is used solely to:
- Improve the reliability, speed, and usability of the Edge+ platform
- Monitor for unauthorised access or unusual behaviour
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and cybersecurity protocols
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting when needed
This information is handled in accordance with ADAPT’s Privacy Policy and is not sold or shared with unauthorised third parties.
5. Platform Availability and Modifications
5.1 Service Access
ADAPT makes every effort to ensure that Edge+ is operational and accessible to authorised users at all times. However, platform access may be interrupted for:
- Scheduled maintenance or system upgrades
- Security updates
- Technical faults, outages, or performance degradation
- Force majeure events such as natural disasters, pandemics, or cyber incidents.
We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of downtime, particularly where maintenance may impact platform access during event periods.
5.2 Changes and Enhancements
ADAPT reserves the right to make ongoing changes to the Edge+ platform, including but not limited to:
- Updating, modifying, or removing features and functionalities
- Adjusting user interface components or user experience flows
- Adding or removing types of data collected based on updated business needs, analytics priorities, or compliance obligations
- Altering the methods of data processing, display, retention, or storage in accordance with changes to legal, privacy, or security frameworks
- Reassigning user access roles, groups, or visibility withinthe platform
When material changes are made, ADAPT will communicate them via email, in-app notification, or event briefing.
6. Termination of Access
6.1 Termination by ADAPT
ADAPT reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your Edge+ access if you:
- Breach these Terms of Use
- Violate any policies related to the ADAPT Event you are attending (e.g., meeting obligations, confidentiality, health & safety)
- Share or misuse your login credentials
- Engage in conduct that could damage the integrity, safety, or operations of the platform or Event
- Use the platform in a way that is misleading, unethical, or outside its intended purpose
Termination may occur without prior warning in cases of serious misconduct or security risk.
6.2 Termination by User
You may request that your Edge+ account be deactivated at any time by contacting hello@adapt.com.au. Note that deactivation will result in the loss of access to your personalised itinerary and networking tools.
6.3 Right to Revoke Access
Access to Edge+ is provided at ADAPT’s sole discretion. We may revoke access at any time if:
- Your role in the event concludes
- You are no longer eligible to participate as a Delegate, Speaker, or Strategic Partner
- Your account remains inactive or unverified for an extended period
Definitions
- ADAPT – Refers to ADAPT Ventures Pty Ltd, the organiser of ADAPT Events and operator of the Edge+ platform.
- Edge+ – A private, invitation-only web and mobile platform that supports ADAPT Event planning, networking, engagement, and communications.
- Delegate – An invited executive attending an ADAPT Event to participate in roundtables, keynote sessions, and scheduled meetings.
- Speaker – A professional contributing to an ADAPT Event through presentations, panels, or research discussions.
- Strategic Partner – A sponsor or participating third-party solution provider engaging with Delegates and contributing to ADAPT Events.
- Platform – The Edge+ digital environment, including all associated services, features, and content delivered via mobile or web application.
- Credentials – The login details issued to an authorised user, including usernames, passwords, and multi-factor authentication data.
- Data – All information, content, and materials provided by users or collected automatically through the Edge+ platform.
- Event Terms and Conditions – The broader ADAPT agreement that governs event participation, including registration, cancellations, and survey requirements.
- Usage Data – Information about how users interact with Edge+, including session duration, navigation patterns, and feature usage.
- Geolocation Data – Data indicating the physical location of a user’s device, which may be derived from GPS, IP addresses, or Wi-Fi.
- Anonymised Data – Data that has been stripped of personal identifiers and aggregated for benchmarking, analysis, or industry insights.
- Force Majeure – Any external event beyond ADAPT’s reasonable control that prevents delivery or access to the platform or services.
