About the role

The Senior Event Operations Manager plays a crucial role in delivering ADAPT’s acclaimed Edge conferences.  

Our Edge events have been celebrated by senior executives around Australia for their game-changing local research, invaluable peer networking opportunities and enabling enterprise growth through strategic partnerships.  

Leading our Event Operations team, the Senior Event Operations Manager is responsible for managing all operations and production elements of ADAPT’s Edge Event product lifecycle, as well as overseeing and providing guidance to the Roundtable production team.   

This role has three key focuses:  

  1. To create an exceptional attendee experience and world class events  
  2. Build strong supplier relationships that can be leveraged and dependable  
  3. Creating and nurturing a passionate, motivated and energised team that love what they do 

The Senior Event Operations Manager will also align Edge Event product deadlines across all departments and multiple stakeholders, while understanding how the deadlines impact each department individually.  

The role will also require managing team workloads to achieve goals and deadlines. They will develop plans to increase efficiency, manage suppliers and reduce costs. They will also execute plans designed to meet company goals by evolving and improving processes.
